I mentored Amy when she joined the Children's Panel around 4 years ago.

We got on well right away, we found that we shared the same values and were able to support each other.

We could be in a meeting together and I would know what she was thinking about an issue without her having to say it. That kind of empathy is so rare, I will miss her very much.
